 AIDA 1 Star or Discovery Freediving.

With our full day course you will understand the basics of freediving which will provide you knowledge about what competitive freediving is.

In this course you will understand the principles about physiology and psychology in freediving, breathing, relaxation and technique that would lead you to a deep dive. What we teach during the class are the same exercises that all the freediving champions are applying in every single deep dive.

The course includes two sessions; theory and practice. We will learn theory in an indoor class and after we achieve theory knowledge, we will proceed to practice all the skills at the ocean. AIDA 1 star course will only allow you to dive to 60 ft, and the reason is that 60 ft is enough to teach you technique at shallow so we can repeat dives, if we try to dive deeper we might not get the chance to repeat dives and we will lose the objective in the course which is technique. Once you gain technique we can gradually increase depth and freedive in a safe and fun way.  You will easily increase depth if you have a solid and strong base of knowledge and technique.

 

Schedule: We begin at 9:00 am – Back in La Paz around 5:00 pm.
